@xxxwoody33 It’s best to change the water with most all systems like this, once every week to three weeks for best results. From the sounds of it, he left his in mucky water for a few extra days. And it looks like some bugs got into your poly tube when you had it opened, those look like chew marks not chem burns. but what do I know.

    Looks like nute …
Looks like nute burn, but it could be bad ph causing deficiency in certian elements.
pH is crucial. At pH 5-6 most of the elements in the liquid nutrient are water soluble and able to be used by the plant. As the ph gets higher, the nutrients get less water soluble as they turn to bases – and when the pH is too low, the solution becomes too acidic and harsh for the plants.

pH must be checked (and corrected if necessary) every single day if possible, never more than 2 days apart.

I am constantly amazed at how someone like yourself with what appears to be very limited space can really make the most out of that space. If your enthusiastic and interested in gardening you can make alot out of a little. I like the way everything looks. It does look like nutrient burn. Everything ooks great and well thought out though. AWSOME!

I’m no expert, nor experienced in anyway, but I know hydroponic gardeners need to check for the oxygen, PH, and nutrients in the water.

    nice set up but …
nice set up but remember some plants like ph lower then others and some plants like ppm higher then other google the plants you wone grow on it and find the ones that like ph and ppm close numbers. (tomatoes like ph5.5-6.5 ppm 1400-3500) (lettuce ph6.0-6.5 ppm 560-840 ) (beans ph6.0-6.5 ppm 1400-2800) (strawberries ph5.5-6.5 ppm 1260-1540)
